That Time We Talked About the Best Innovations of the Decade
Tuesday Jan 07, 2020
Tuesday Jan 07, 2020
In this episode, Craig and Kevin discuss what they believe to be the best innovations of the past decade for the home. In the world we live in, things are changing rapidly. Technology is difficult to keep up with, and new practices are implemented all of the time. 2010-2019 gave us a plethora of innovations that are really amazing. It’s interesting that in 2007 Epcot Center at Walt Disney World had an experience that showcased the home of the future called House of Innoventions. Amazingly enough, much of what was displayed in that attraction are staples in homes today. We detail many of those things along with our favorites.

That Time We Talked About Dieting
Tuesday Dec 31, 2019
Tuesday Dec 31, 2019
In this episode, Craig and Kevin interview Lisa Agens, owner of Your Lean Life. It’s that time of year where everyone makes resolutions. The number one resolution from year to year continues to be weight loss and a healthier life. Unfortunately, losing weight isn’t easy, and it requires a lifestyle change that many people are unwilling to make. Studies show that the average New Years resolution lasts an average of 2 weeks. Lisa believes that there is a better alternative to nutrition, and it involves a change of thinking. What diet is best? What happens when the cravings hit? What if your friends aren’t supportive? Can’t I just do this on my own? We discuss these questions and a lot more on this special edition of The Homeowners Show.

That Time We Talked to a House Cleaner
Tuesday Dec 10, 2019
Tuesday Dec 10, 2019
In this episode, Craig and Kevin talk to Chelsea Rhodes, owner of J. Bean Services - a house cleaning company. It’s one of those things that most people dread the most. The thing that we put off and frankly, tend to do when it needs it most rather than on a consistent basis. Cleaning our house. That’s right - it’s a tough job. But someone has to do it. There are multiple reasons people might hire a house cleaner and all of them are legitimate. At the end of the day, it’s a matter of putting your priorities in place. What’s the most important thing to you? Maybe it’s a clean house, or maybe it’s more time with your family. Chelsea would say that you can have both. Hiring a house cleaner is a big decision. From the chemicals (or organic cleaners) they use, to their trustworthiness, to their ability to alleviate stress in your life, hiring a house cleaner isn’t a minor decision. In this episode Chelsea discusses the things that she believes you should be looking for in a house cleaner and much more.
